GUARDIANS IS AN AWARD WINNING COMEDY/THRILLER SET IN THE EAST END OF LONDON, AN AREA WITH A CHEQUERED PAST AND AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE. IT CENTRES AROUND CARLSON AND LAVENDER, TWO DISPARATE PEOPLE WHO ARE THROWN TOGETHER TO LOOK AFTER A 200 YEAR OLD TOWNHOUSE. AT FIRST THESE ILL-SUITED MEN ONLY HAVE TO DEAL WITH EACH OTHER. BUT IT SOON BECOMES CLEAR THAT THERE IS MORE TO THIS OLD HOUSE THAN MEETS THE EYE. NOISES, SHADOWS, STRANGE APPARITIONS ALL POINT TO THE HOUSE BEING WATCHED. BUT BY WHO? GHOSTS? INTRUDERS? SEX FIENDS? WHOEVER IT IS THESE TWO IDIOTS ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO DEAL WITH IT.

Braine Hownd Films were formed in 2006 by Mark A. C. Brown and Phil Haine. In the 12years since they have made 17 short films including the award-Winning Stalker, Stained, Corinthian and I Am Lonely. Guardians is their debut feature and involves almost everyone that starred in or was behind the camera on the short films. Its SUCCESS at festivals with awards for Best Screenplay, Ensemble and Supporting Actress at the Genreblast Film Festival was compounded by the Best Screenplay (unproduced) award at the NOLA New Orleans Horror Film Festival for Marks feature script Coldfall which has also been nominAted for two awards at the prestigious Oaxaca Film Festival. Their shorts continue to win awards such as Most Shocking Short (Stained - San Francisco Comic-con), Best Director (Stained - Horrorquest), Best Comedy ( Stained - Hope Film Awards) and Best Film (Corinthian - Indieburgh Film Festival), Best Director (Corinthian - Reading Fringe Film Festival).
